I haven't scrapbooked in years and want to start back again. Just wondering what is the cost difference between digi vs. paper?
In the past I used CM albums. I have been buying some 12x12 paper when it's on sale just to get prepped.

You can survive on freebies in digital scrapbooking for a long time. Kits are generally around 3-5 each, if you can catch them on sale. If you are familiar with a site, you will quickly figure out their sale pattern. I am on many digital creative teams, so I rarely buy kits, but I do occasionally.
Then when I have my pages done, I print them in shutterfly books, which are 30 for 20 pages, more for additional pages.
And of course you need a program to create in!

Thanks. Maybe, I'll start playing with some of the freebie stuff and see how I like it. I sit in front of a computer all day at work and I just don't know about sitting in front of one in the evening (oh, wait a minute - i do that now with the Disboard) :rotfl:
I will try it out and see. Thanks.
I have Photoshop Elements 5.0 where I do my editing now.

That is the best plan! In the FAQ in the stickies, there are links to several sites with lots of tutorials to get you started!!
