Nightly Kingdom

I've never heard the rumor before about a "Nightly Kingdom" before this week's podcast. It sounds interesting and it would be great if the Adventurers Club could be relocated there. Anyone have any more details about it?

I'm not at all excited about Nightly Kingdom and I don't really think it's a good idea. Especially with the economy the way it is. They assume people will be willing to pay $250 to get into another park?! I would much rather have had them make a villains park.

well on google earth when you look at ak there is a large open spot with nothing and trailer trucks there i want to know if thats where it going

I think there are a couple of other current announcements pointing to Knight Kingdom. Specifically, the loss of the Pleasure Island night clubs, and the potential of limiting Fantasmic to 2 night per week.

I've noticed in the past when Disney sometimes starts eliminating things it can lead to a bigger announcement. For example, when Disney began eliminating menu choices a few years ago; months later Disney announced the Dining Plan.

We maybe on a similar track with Night Kingdom. Evening entertainment options are disappearing; maybe in preparation for a night time theme park or other large offering.

Sometimes the answers to Disney's future can be found in the decisions they've made in the past.
