Whatever happened to River County?

I just realize that I haven't seen or heard about river county.. Whatever happened I mean I know they have the 2 other water parks that are better.

When did it offically close???

It is physically still there and you can see parts of it from the boat ride to the camp ground. It was closed years ago (2001). :sick:

It's unfortunately just been left to rot. :sad2:

As brack said, it closed operation around 2001, but I believe Disney didn't officially announce its closure until 2004.

oooooo, bad memories there involving a waterslide that ran out of water, another guest on a tube and me being knocked down on my butt...twice...

It was fun but I like TL and BB much better. It was nice because it was different from any other water park I had been too, but they really didn't have any thrill rides.
