We are going on the 6/1 day cruise and staying the night before at the Resort on Cocoa Beach.
I would like to drop off our luggage and myself and the kids at the port and let my DH return the Avis car to the Radisson. Then he could take the shuttle back by himself and avoid dragging the kids along.
Does anyone know the earliest time we could drop off the luggage?? Also how long will it take to get from the Resort at Cocoa Beach to the port?? It appears on Dave's map that it is next to the Hilton??? Thanks...

The gates to the terminal property open at 10:30am. You should be able to check your baggage and drop your passengers at that time.

You're going to love the Resort on Cocoa Beach! IMO, it's the best property on the Space Coast. Yes, it's right next-door to the Hilton. It should take you 10-15 minutes to get to the cruise terminal depending on traffic.

Hi Dave,
I selected the Resort on Cocoa Beach based on your recommendation on your website. It sounds ideal for our family-3 kids and DH and me
I also have a ressie at the Radisson for that night at the $99 special for a suite-but I'd rather spend a little more to stay on the beach.
I only wish that we have more time at the resort- our flight doesn't arrive until 4:30pm at MCO. We also selected the resort in hopes of seeing the shuttle take off-it's scheduled for 5/31 the night b4 the cruise.
Have u ever been in Cocoa Beach/Port area if there is a shuttle launch-I am worried about the traffic from MCO if there is a launch that day.

That sounds like a question for Shirley. She's the sweetie who runs The Perfect Gift (www.theperfectgift.cc). She lives in Cocoa Beach and would be happy to answer your question about launch-related traffic. snelsonbrown@aol.com
