Poly to Cape May Buffet?

Can we take the monorail to EPCOT, walk through the International Gateway and to Cape May Buffet? How long is the walk from the International Gateway? Can you take the boat that also goes to the Boardwalk and then walk from there ? We would like to see Illuminations afterward and didn't want to take the car. I realize it will probably take about 1 hour to get there.

That is definitely a way to get to Cape May. When we stayed at BC two years ago we would walk through Epcot to get to MK by monorail.

Fastest way is to take a cab from Poly to BC. Fastest Disney way is monorail to MK and then catch the bus to BC there. Slow way, but you get to see Epcot, is walk over to TTC from Poly, take monorail to Epcot, walk through Epcot to International Gateway exit near United Kingdom, and walk over to BC from there -- the walk from International Gateway to BC is about 10 minutes. You could take the boat from International Gateway which goes first to BW and second to YC/BC but that takes 15 to 20 minutes.

Here's yet another option - quicker than taking the monorail to MK, then bus to BCR.

- Take the Bus to Studios, then boat over to the Beach Club
- You can then walk into Epcot via the Int'l Gateway, watch Illuminations
- Then walk out to the front to catch the monorail to TTC
- You can monorail to the Polynesian or just walk back
