Has anyone ever stayed here that can tell me if you can go down to the quiet pool at night in your sarong and cossie - is this apprpriate dress code? Also does anyone know where I might find the hot pool - jacuzzi whatever you want to call it and I can go to this at night?

I think a sarong would be perfectly appropriate. don't know what a cossie is.;)

cossie = swimming constume/bikini

(sorry, don't know where the hot tub/jacuzzi is - although I am sure that the Yacht Club must have one or more).

That's appropriate dress code and the quiet pool is open all night. There is a hot tub next to the quiet pool. There is also a small cabana where you can do laundry. It's convenient to throw in a load of clothes to wash and then relax in the pool while you're waiting.

I hope that I have grasped UK speak along the way: I am British ;-) (and have lived in Britain for all of my 28 years...)

Still, I spend about 3 holidays in the US a year too - so also appreciate the subtle differences and often have to "translate" what my husband says ("bin" = "trash can", "car park" = "parking lot" etc.etc.) - some Americans find his use of some English phrases difficult to understand ;-)

Still, it works both ways, wont tell you HOW long it took me to work out what "Xing" painted on the road meant! :eek:
