No-one really knows when Disney hikes there ticket prices up,but there has been speculation that an announcement may be made on Fri Aug 1st-for prices to increase on Sun Aug 3rd.(which is how it normally works-announcement on the Fri-Increase takes effect Sun).
Well i have just received my email from UndercoverTourist(where i buy my WDW tickets from)and they have announced there price increase will take effect on August 3rd.Below is just a tiny portion from my email(as it contains personal info)
Orlando Attraction Tickets
Real Tickets (not vouchers),
Fantastic Prices, Free Shipping,
and First-Class Customer Service.
Yearly Price Increase!
Our prices are definitely going up August 3rd!
Purchase Orlando Attraction Tickets
Best days to visit - Avoid the lines at Disney World.
Disney World, Universal Orlando guide.
Discount Aquatica Tickets available now!
So it could be worth anyone getting there WDW tickets before the yearly price increase.(it was Aug last year when they went up).
I bought mine last year before the rise for our trip in 2009-so thankfully have missed 2 price increases now.x.

Out of interest, how much has the annual rise been in the past? Im needing tix for next year for 6 of us but a bit strapped for cash at the mo but could stretch to getting them just now if it was worth it.
If it was only £1-2 then I would wait but if it more like £10-15 a head then would buy now!! I know previous rate hikes is no guarantee but would be interesting to know.

I seem to recall on the WDW site it said ticket prices were going up £4 on UK 14 day Ultimate Tickets which isn't that bad to be fair. The DDPs were priced the same as this years so no increase there which is great.

One of the rumors is that the Park Hopper option will no longer be an option; it will be added into the price of all tickets thus making them more expensive even if you don't need that feature. Just a rumor though.

Cheers Bob :thumbsup2 .If that were the case then they would deffinatley be more expensive for us as we never have the hopper option.x.

How much are they going up? surely not as much as you would earn in the bank, last year some of the tickets hardly changed. Losing 18 months interest? need some calculations doing there.:goodvibes

Ours are due 5th August, last year we renewed online just before the increase.

Does anyone know whether, historically, all the UK 'special' tickets (ultimates and premiums) increase at the same time as the MYW tickets?
