I have to order my crocs within the next few days and I'm still undecided. I tried on the malindi and found them to be very comfy...Has anyone tried these in the parks? Or give me advice on any other kind. Thanks

I've never worn those in the parks, but I have worn them walking fairly long distances and think they're great. I also think they're the cutest Croc :-), besides the Mary Jane style.

My friends son wore them and got blisters, he complained his feet always felt sweaty. We have worn them and been fine, I find them quite comfortable. I guess there are so many brands of the original crocs, worn by different people, everyone is bound to have a different reaction. Just wear them around for a while before you go.

I love my crocs. That being said, I found them not to work very well on a long day in the park. I did get a "hot spot" on my instep from them, but not a full-blown blister. On the other hand, my feet weren't sore from the impact of walking so far since the spongy sole seemed to alleviate that. The biggest issue for me was that they make your feet sweat. I tried them with socks, but the socks kept rolling down.
All in all, I found a good pair of cross-trainer sneakers to be the best bet.

Everyone has a different opinion on what shoes work best in the park. I am not going to wear sneakers because I never wear them at home. If I don't wear them at home, why would I wear them to place where I was on my feet all day long.
I bought Crocs in malindi and celeste and have been wearing them the last couple of days to break in. They're nice and squishy and don't see them being a problem. I'll also have a couple pairs of flip flops in for when it's wet out.
FYI I think the malindi runs a little big. I usually wear a size 7 but I bought a six because the 7 was much too big. I'm glad I went to the Crocs place and didn't get them online, then I'd have to wait forever for new ones.
