Warning... we had a not so good experience with Fox Rent a Car this past 2 weeks that we were in California!!! I found them on the web because their price was low! Now I know why it is so low:)
We were told that a "mid-size" car would be like a Nissan Altima... we got there and they gave us a Daewoo! The car only had 20,000 miles on it but was dirty, full of dents and missing the antena!!! (we had no radio for two weeks in a car with a 5 and 8 yr. old!!!) The shuttle from the airport was awful trying to find it and waiting for it. We had like 1/2 hour wait for the next shuttle. There is no "courtesy" phone like they said there would be. (or at least not one marked with "Fox Cars". We had to rent a car seat for our 5 yr. old. it was a filthy mess. Dirty, stained, twisted buckles, just gross!! (at $5 a day.. you would think that they could buy some new ones once in a while. ) Very unprofessional people in the rental agency. They did offer us the "upgrade" to the Nissan for an extra $20 a day.... it was just not fun!!!
But on a happier note... the vacation itself was AWESOME!!!!!
Please think twice before using Fox-Rent-a-Car!!!!!!!!!! You will be happy to pay a little more for a better time and a clean car!!!!
