Are there refridgerators (do you pay for them?) in the rooms?

What nights do they have movie nights and can someone give me some details on this? Where do they show the movies, does it get crowded, is the movie hard to hear??? etc (we are going Oct 29-Nov4) ANy info would be greatly appreciated.

Staying in an obstructed view, do you know what floor these rooms are on?

Is there a slide at the pool?

Any info at all would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Lisa

There are mini-bar "coolers" as they call them. I was told don't rely on it for a baby bottle or medicine to stay cold but I kept a little milk container in there for my coffee and it was fine. Not really a lot of room though since it's pre-filled with stuff to buy. If you want a true fridge and space you have to request it and it's an extra charge. Not sure of the amount.

I think it was Fri nite when we were there last. It's a big screen by the pool (near the little bar area) and I could hear it just fine. It was Babe (yes, the little pig movie and all the employees were laughing/complaining what a lame movie choice.)
I would call when your dates get closer to get more details.

Staying in an obstructed view, do you know what floor these rooms are on? We stayed in these too and it was fine. We had a view of another part of the building's roof when you looked down. To the left was the rear end of US but at night we could see the sign for Twister. We so didn't mind that we booked Obs. view again and got the room next door. I'm at work right now so I don't have paperwork with me but when I get home I will post my room #s.

Is there a slide at the pool?
Yes!!

Any info at all would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Our rooms were 6035 and 6037. We were barely in the room anyway.

We just did 5 nites at the Hard Rock
The dive in movies in the summer are on Wednesday and Fridays
We saw The Cat in the Hat movie

It's awesome, it was not too crowded when we were there at all
It's cool to float around the pool and watch a movie
and they do have a very cool water slide
You will love the Hard Rock Hotel!

to add on to the others' comments:

check the uo website for hrh hotels.
click on additional info
pool nights are listed there and they have changed before.

there is a rumor to add more pool nights at hrh in the fall.

it is loud enough for everyone to hear.

they do not allow the slide to be used during the movie, or loud yelling in the pool either.

when the movie is over, scream all you want........

Thanks again for the responses.

I did not realize you can be in the pool and watch at the same time. (we have a movie night at a pool we belong to here in MD and movie is on the pool property but you can not see the movie from the pool) This sounds like fun and I know my kids would love it so I want to figure out when they are having them. I will look on the official site. We are not going to any Horror Nights (my kids are too young, 10 &12) SO it will be fun to have some other things to do in the evening.

Thanks for the reply, so I guess I don't have to go buy a dollar store floatie to bring (our luggage will probably be too heavy the way it is:) )

Dive-In Movies
Catch the “movie of the week” on a big screen poolside. Select nights
(weather permitting).

the hours are not listed today on the site.

you go to hotels and then to attractions.
