AP discount on MYW Tickets?

I am deciding what type of Disney tickets to get my DD. I am wondering if it is better to get the MYW or 14 ultimate ticket, will definitely want park hopping options as we like to go to epcot at night for something to eat. I have an AP will this allow me to get a discount of the MYW tickets for my DD?

i just went through this debate last week..
i actually called disney to find out about AP discounts on MYW tickets...
the answer is no, the AP does not get you a discount on the MYW ticket..
it only gets you a discount on hard ticketed event tickets (e.g., halloween party tickets)..

in the end, i ordered the 14 day ultimate ticket for my daughter's friend...
it worked out to be the same price as the 10 day MYW park hopper/water parks and more ticket, so the 14 day ultimate is a much better deal...

As Beth says no WDW discounts but you can with a Universal AP just incase anyone is reading and didn't know.
