How easy is it to learn to use the Lumix TZ5? I'm most concerned with better pictures of wishes and spectro than with my kodak p&s. i leave two weeks from today and am still considering purchasing it. thanks!

If it's anything like the TZ3, it'll be easy to learn and use. It has a smart mode. Set it to that for ease, and learn how to turn your flash off/on and you should be good to go. Also the newer models capture sound and video w/ zooming capabilities, so make sure you have plenty of high speed sd cards w/ lots of space.

I have this camera. It was so easy to learn how to use. I am not tech savvy, but I can use this camera and the pictures come out great. Like the poster above said it has and easy mode and that's what I use most of the times but it also has a ton of other scene modes to use. Go for it I don't think you will be sorry.
