Hello again...
Thanks to everyone who helped me with my frozen concoction question!
I have another. I have the days that the Extra Magic Hours are for each park and whether or not it is am or pm, but how do I find out the EXACT hours? If it is EMH in the morning at Magic Kingdom, how early do they open? Are these hours posted anywhere? I have called myself searching all over, but can't find that info.....
I'm trying to get an idea and plan a little extra for some things.
Thanks!

The am extra magic hours mean the park opens 1 hour early (generally 8.) The pm extra magic hours mean the park stays open "up to" 3 hours later than scheduled for the "public." Everytim,e I've been there; the pm EM hours have always stayed open the full 3 hours, but they say "up to" so I guess they could close before.

Yeah, I understand that part of it, but how and when will I know if it will be the full three hours? Do they know ahead of time? Will it be posted that day somewhere?

It may depend on the time of year you are going. This summer, every morning EMH was 1 hour early and evry evening EMH was the full 3 hours after closing.

Oh, okay.. thanks. I'm headed in late September (20-26), so hopefully the hours will be that long. But still, do they post them on or near the park that day to let you know?

We went in Jan. and every pm EM hours they were opened the full 3 hours, but I don't remember seeing a sign or anything for it, sorry. I would bet it'd be open the full 3. I wonder if anyone has ever been when it wasn't? Anyone??

Every trip we have been on the EMH hours have been one hour in the morning and 3 in the evening. That has been true no matter which month it is, no matter which park we are in, etc. I have never heard of evening EMH being less than 3 hours - not sure why they word it as "up to" 3 hours. :confused3

Thanks for all the responses! I will "assume" it will be the full three hours for each night. If it changes, it changes. I'm flexible (I just like to plan!).
58 days away!!!
:woohoo:

When they say "up to" 3 hours, it's pure legalese. They say it to cover their butts just in case they shorten it for some weird reason so that they can't be sued by people demanding their money's worth.
Count on evening EMH to be 3 hours and not one minute less. Trust me, it's not one of those variable things that you never know what will be ... it is always 3 hours. Count on it!
