Baggage handling w/o transfers and parking at Port.

The last time we cruised with Disney, a couple of years ago, we opted against the transfers. At that time, however, Disney still asked that we put our luggage outside our hotel room the night before embarkation and they took it to the ship for us and delivered it to the room.
Do they still do this? We are sailing on the Wonder on 4/25 and will not be using transfers (we're driving ourselves)...which brings me to question two. I read somewhere that the passenger parking lot is no longer located right next to the Port. Is this true? If so, will we know where to go and is it a short walk to the Port or is there a shuttle and if there's a shuttle, is it a long wait. We plan on getting to Port EARLY!

Looks like it might be kinda a pain to haul our luggage across those two little roads. Can we pull up into that baggage area, drop everyone off and then take the car over to the lot?
