We used ME last year and are doing so again next month!
We used the yellow tags that they send you to put on your luggage, we then had to collect our bags from the first carousel at MCO but then didn't claim them from the second carousel. The bags were then delivered direct to our hotel room a few hours later!
We found it to be a very good service, on the way home you have to take your luggage with you, some people say they get you to the airport too early but we like that!
Oh one tip, last year our bags took ages and with the jetlag we wanted to go to sleep so this year we're going to pack 1 small suitcase with all our over night and next day stuff in, we won't put the ME yellow sticker on that bag and will take it onto the bus with us. We'll then tell bell service to bring our bags up the next morning :thumbsup2

sorry to jump in on this thread
Just wondering when do you put the yellow tags on your suitcases?
I was thinking about putting these on at the 1st baggage reclaim.

if you have a direct flight, put me tags on before you board plane,if conecting you have to pick up your bag for the conection, then put on yelow tags and you wont see then till they arive in your room.
Personly we dont use yelow tags as we like bags to arive same time as us.Its ideal for the yanks as they checkin earler and go to park, when there back bags in room,
Bags can take 2-3 hors to get to room if using tags

Just incase you didn't know! I imagine you already did know this, but just making sure. :cutie:
I didn't realise this, but the Magical Express only works out of Orlando International Airport not Sanford. So if you're flying to Sanford you can't use the ME.

If you are travelling Virgin and intend to pick up your bags keep in mind that the luggage pick up has now moved. So you will have to schlep your bags right across MCO to get to the ME desk.

Just wondering
1) Is there signs in the airport directing you to ME?
I am so used to flying into Sanford, not really used MCO.
2) anyone know what happens if your plane has a big delay - 4 yrs back we had a horrible 13hr delay (Monarch to Sanford). When we arrived it was after midnight and everything was shut

to number one, when they first introduced it,they would have CM with mickey hands directing you,now because of complants fron taxi firms there not alowed to do this anymore, then you could just turn up show your conformation number and board bus,now you have to prebook
To find it ask any airport staf and they will gladly tell you.think its near to the carhire desks
To number two, they operate until 2-3 hours past last plane landing

I'm still confused as I believe that you have to collect your luggage twice at Orlando International and I thought I saw a post ages ago that said, if travelling from outside the USA, that you had to collect your luggage at the first collection point and then ME would pick it up from the second - can anyone clarify this?:confused3

Yep that's true, it doesn't matter that you already have the yellow tags on and I find it easier to already have them on than carry them in my hand luggage and put them on inbetween carousels!
