Just to add an international flavour, we come from near Inverness Scotland United Kingdom, Memebers since Dec 00 and looking forward to our AKL,BCV trip on July the 4th for 14 nights.
We are members at VWL.

Inverness is at the top of Loch Ness where the beast lurks beneath the water in a huge lake, Disney even made a film of it.

My husband only shoveled our driveway twice this winter, which is amazing for Rochester. Having grown up in Virginia Beach most of my life, I did not miss the snow, except on Christmas. However, many of our friends and their kids were extremely disappointed, as skiing, sledding and snowmobiling were impossible.

However, if they really wanted to see some snow, all they had to do is head west 70 miles to Buffalo; our neighbors to the West were hit hard a few times by snow.

Guess I better check in from the state of South Dakota. We live in Sioux Falls the largest metropolis in the state (130,000-- approx.). We don't know any dvc owners. We've BWV owners since 99 and just bought at BCV. Most people just don't get it. We do know one family from Yankton, SD who go to WDW a couple times each the year, but don't own dvc. We purchased DVC over the phone in 1996 after vacationing at Vero and Hilton Head. Our Home Resort is Vero Beach and we also have an add-on at OKW. We recently used points for the DVC 10th Anniversary Cruise which proved to be one of our best DVC experiences to date. Hoping they'll offer more member get-togethers in the future:)
