I'm so glad you liked the color of my face because my cousin's thought I was trying to be the wicked witch of the west and not Sally ! :laughing: Thanks for the compliment on my cousin, I personally don't like it at all haha. I got so tired by then, and I still needed to take off my makeup and re-apply regular makeup for work that I had like 40 minutes later, so I rushed his look. Next time, I will definitely take the time to make him rock because he doesn't mind (especially since he's here on the DISboards [TheAXIOM]).

Today's post is going to be different from the past ones that we have done before, so get your thinking caps on! I was talking with my mother about the looks we're doing and she had an ingenious idea. She said to me, "why don't you have them guess what characters you are?" I thought for a second, and was excited to call disneyL0VE right away to propose the idea. Of course she said yes to it ;)

disneyL0VE is preoccupied with work right now, so she'll post hers later. Depending on our patience and your guessing abilities, we're going to reveal our inspiration in 1-2 days. Just wanted to let you know that my cousin & I will most likely do looks on Tuesday :)

I want to get a couple more in because I start school on the 25th and know I will not have as much time as I have been during the summer to create !!

Hey, I have been sitting back in awe enjoying this thread for quite some time now and I just want to say that, everything is always so perfect and amazing! I think I'm slightly "challenged" when it comes to styling my hair and doing my make-up but I'm working on it haha. I also love the fact that you guys not only show how to re-create your images but also which products you used to get the look. A lot of "how-to" books and style/make-up guides hardly ever state the products used. It sucks cause a lot of the time so many of us are using the wrong concealers or lip colors or so on.

Anyways,... not only do I notice how amazing your make-up looks but I also LOVE your guys' hair! It always seems to just flow and look amazing. I'm wondering what kind of hair-spray or hair products you guys use? I have thick hair and it styles great but it always falls shortly after and it never ever holds its shape. It sucks :sad2:

Aw, that was a GREAT comment missxjess! I'm SO glad that you're paying attention to what products we use ! I was starting to feel that no one from here were paying attention :(

About the hairspray.. I use two different kinds. For EXTRA EXTRA hold, I use AquaNet. It comes in a purple-ish aerosol can. For everyday use, I use Garnier Fructis Style - Full Control.. ULTRA STRONG level! The Garnier will REALLY hold if you spray a lot ! It's ultra strong =) These hairsprays have worked for me and they should work for you because I have really thick hair too. Believe me hun, when it comes to styling, I had as much trouble as you do !

I would LOVE it if other members re-created our looks but with their lil kick to it! I'm pretty sure my cousin would most definitely agree too :thumbsup2

Thanks for shouting out !! I actually agree with my cousin on the hair products. Whenever she or I find products that we like, we share the knowledge with eachother; so most of the time we use the same stuff. Especially since we're family and we both have A LOT of hair. Personally for me, curling irons and hot rollers don't work for me in the long run. If its only for an hr or two, then sure. If I want my hair to stay curly for longer, I use sponge rollers. I either 1) lightly hairspray 1 inch sections and set them in curlers over night or 2) heavy hairspray 1 inch sections and set them in curlers for 2-3 hrs. The difference between the two is that the second makes my hair more stiff and the first makes my hair look more wavy and soft.

Hope that helps ! Also, I straighten my hair when its not curly. It REALLY helps. Especially if you condition it. I use Bumble and Bumble Tonic Lotion after my shower and V05 Miracle! Mist before I straighten :)

THAAANKS :) I had to borrow a red bandana from my uncle down the street, so I was walking around in a cowboy outfit with crazy makeup !! I manage to have to leave the house with my Disney looks for things like taking my dog for a walk or borrowing things from my aunt down the street. I hope all of you been having a good day! I stayed up pretty late last night and woke up at 8 and kept doing my theatre makeup research. I'm obsessed !

disneyL0VE and I wanted to go a completely different direction and went for Disney Villains. I hope that all you people enjoy this because it was a challenge for me.

Love the new looks!!! You both mention have trouble covering up your eyebrows. I remember one year for Halloween covering mine up pretty well by rubbing a wet bar of soap over the eyebrow in the direction the hair grows and then applying the make up over that. Have you tried this before?

I need more info on the Maleficent, what kind of makeup do you suggest I use for my kids? DD8 was Maleficent last year but her make up was no where near this level!! Did you try the soap idea for your eyebrows? Did it work? Sorry, I am at work so didn't read all these but man, these looks are so good!!

I had to go out and buy the Urban Decay eyelid primer after reading on your blog that you use it. I love it! My eyelids never get oily or creases now. I wish I could use it on my whole face (I have extremely oily skin). ;)

THAAANKS :) I actually bought a box dye and had my mom do it ! I did bleach my hair before when I had those chunks a while back, so my hair was a bit light to begin with. Whenever you dye your hair black you make it 2x harder for other colors to stick to it; thats probably why you can't get red to hold to your hair. I didn't dye my eyebrows, I actually just mix a bit of red eyeshadow with my regular eyebrow powder to make it fit with my hair color !!

I'm so glad you love the UDPP !! We use it ALL the time. You really can see the difference with it on. The eye shadow colors just come out so much brighter! You know, for oily skin you may want to ask my cousin what she uses for that, because I know she does use face primer that might help !

He kept using a face wash that we have that as Benzoyl Peroxide in it everyday & exfoliates.. so it his face was over done! Soo, he stopped using those everyday and I made sure that he MOISTURIZES !! He never did that. Pack on a little more moisturizer around your nose & overtime the flakiness should go away. Make sure you moisturize every morning & night to keep your face moisturized & hydrated. Most of the time when it's flaky, it's because it's not hydrated enough. I know your skin is oily & moisturizers might make you even more oily.. it really depends on the type of moisturizer. I use Olay Complete All Day Moisture Cream either in Sensitive or Normal. My brother uses Aveeno something.. but they both work great for us!

Thank you. I don't exfoliate but twice a week and I use a gentle cleanser but I will try using a moisturizer around my nose and see if that helps. I am definitely going to try the MAC oil control lotion and Smashbox Light primer.
