I'm a serious bargain shopper and couponer - I just don't like to pay full retail for anything. I've noticed that when Michael's has coupons, in the fine print it excludes all Cricut products. Bummer!

I've been looking on ebay and aside from that are there any other places that sell them at a sale price (i.e., less than at Michael's)?

Thanks!!

The website customcrops dot com usually has some good prices for cartridges. I have not ordered from here, but have heard that shipping times can be slow. I have had good luck getting cartridges on ebay, just have to be persistent and determined not to get too caught up in the bidding.

Thanks! I'll check that site out. I've been looking at ebay and, like you said, trying not to get too caught up in the bidding. I have a price in mind and once it hits that price I stop.

I haven't won any yet but since I don't really need them right at the moment I can afford to be persistent (or cheap :) ).

ACMoore had all cricut stuff 50% off last week. I'm sure it will come around again.

just google cricut cartridge sale and you'll get a ton of stores. I usually sign up for their mailing lists so when I get the urge to get a cart I can quickly figure out who has it cheapest.

Michaels will put the cartridges on sale from time to time. They used to sell them for $50, but the last few sales they have dropped to $45.

Also, check http://www.creativexpress.com They are the online presence for ProvoCraft, and will have great sales from time to time (Last fall, I got 4 carts for about $110 shipped).

I'm also pretty sure it's Creative Express that will price match a craft stores sales price (if it's a set amount like $49.99 ... they won't do percentage off discounts). I got my Pooh carts that way (the ACM just got them in near me). You do have to call them tho to get the sale price ... just mention to them what sale you want them to match and they will.
I never buy off of ebay and the Pooh carts are the only ones I've ordered from an online source. I always wait for ACM or M's to have a 50% off or anything else under $50 ... I refuse to pay full price.

Oh, and I just noticed on the Cricut message board that someone mentioned that Michael's will be having Cricut cartridges for $40 in their sale starting on July 27 ... you might want to watch out for that sale ... that's a pretty good price.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!!

I wonder if they will have a big display like last time they had a sale, or just from the cage. Last time, it was worse than the day after Thanksgiving!

Bummer I just paid $45 at AC Moore on Paper Dolls. :-( Oh well :-) Guess I'll save the $5 in gas to have to go back :-)

Looks like I may need to break down and go to Michael's. I usually don't like my local Michael's because the customer service is sub-par but $40 is a good price.
