Hello Lisa,

I was checking out the awesome book you made for your son and I love it!!! We are leaving to go to WDW in less than 90 days now and this kind of book would be a perfect gift for our oldest child. I have saved each of your designs onto my hard drive but cannot edit them in any way because my Digital Image is no longer working and I cannot re-purchase it because they have discontinued it.

I was wondering if you would be able and willing to help me out with a few of the letters. Here are my requests:

1. O to say - O is for Old Key West. Can you please add the words "We are now DVC members! Our villa was room # ______ and what I loved most was..." would you please add a picture of the resort and a place for a personal picture?

2. P to say - P is for Party. We partied into the night with Mickey and friends. We all dressed up and had a blast. What I loved the most was... Would you also add a picture of the Not So Scary Halloween Party and a place for a personal picture?

3. R to say - R is for racetrack. The Tomorrowland Indy Speedway was rocking! Jack and I got to be racecar drivers and loved every minute of it. Our cars were... Would you please add a picture of the raceway and then a place for a personal photo?

4. S to say - S is for Star Tours! I am finally tall enough to ride this cool ride! I'll never forget....."? Would you please add a picture of the ride and a place for a personal picture?

Also, what size did you end up printing? Is there enough room to put a personal photo in the photo frame spots? Are you just going to have your child collect autographs on the back sides of the pages?

Your final product looks fabulous! You have been blessed with a great talent!!!

I'll be glad to help you out...I'll post the changes as soon as I can. I actually did a 4x6 size. The frames are too small for photos unless you did really small photos like wallet sizes...I thought I would use that extra spot for small photos or even a drawn picture by my little boy- since he is only 4 and I'll be doing the writing- that could be his little touch??? Adding autographs is a great idea and I thought about using the backs for large photos too???

Lastly, do you think that I would be able to print the pages so that those spots would be large enough to hold an actual photo? I was thinking that if I printed it larger it would distort the the image because when I saved it they were 825 x 638, is this true? Is there anyway for me to enlarge the image without distorting it?

I think it would work... just turn the pages to landscape. You could try one to make sure it does not mess things up.

I don't have a Staples near me. Is this something you think I could upload to Walmarts website and categorize it as a photobook??? I hate to spend that much on ink and I don't think I could bind it as well as you did at home.

I didn't do anything at home- Staples did everything including the binding. I've never done that at Walmart but I don't see why it wouldn't work. I'd love to see how it comes out!:) :)

One more question (I wonder how many times I'll type that!!)

I tried to upload the files onto Walmarts website to print them off in a photo book, but it wouldn't let me since they weren't JPEG files. So I tried to change them to JPEG files, and they went from this:

That worked!!! Honestly, if you have time (my boys are 7 & 4 too---so I know there's not a lot of extra time in the day :rotfl: ) that would be wonderful. :hug: If not I can keep working at it.......I'm sure it will take a lot of your time to have to save those pages the different way!!

The problem was the letter pages.The pages with the red ears were fine.I spent today loading them into Printmaster already and should have them printed and bound by Friday. Thank you so much for offering to change the for me.

The way I did it was:
1. I saved the png files in My Pictures in a folder that I named Will's ABC book-just name it something so you know where to find it
2. Then once all the "letters" were saved, I opened Word and clicked on insert , then picked picture from that drop down box, next I picked from a file from the next drop down box...
3. Finally I found the folder from My pictures, opened it and picked the letter or cover that I wanted to insert into the word document.

Actually I had them print the front page and back page on card stock the the others on regular paper... Let me give you a little heads up- I originally did a 4 by 6 size booklet and had them to cut the pages however the finished product was off centered. I mentioned this to one of the Staples employees today when I picked up something else today...it also had a weird spot on the cover. He told me to re-send it and he suggested that I do it as full pages rather than 1/2 pages (4x6). I told him I would be happy to pay the difference if it cost more to have it on larger paper and he said no....there would be no extra charge for them to reprint it. There is 100% satisfaction guarantee. So you may want to consider doing full pages??? I'll let you know how it turns out- I think I can pick it up tomorrow afternoon. Sorry for the ramble but I thought you might want to know...
