Hi Deb,

Nicola has only gone till Tuesday, she has internet access in her hotel room so she has emailed me twice up to now.She says weather is nice, flight went okay not many on plane so after take off could sit where they liked.Has flown with Virgin, she has gone to a concert with Maryann from Iowa.
Anyway Deb my other two daughters have today SURPRISED me, they have booked between the three of them a 7 day trip to Boston for all 4 of us for my Birthday and Nicola's Birthday next Jan. So DH and DS will have to fend for themselves.
I will only be home from Florida 6 weeks and then we will be on a virgin plane again.

Byeeee Christine.

Christine, what wonderful daughters you have! Would they like to adopt me? What a lovely thing to look forward to and you won't get that horrible anti-climax after your WDW trip and Christmas are over.

Hi Deb,

I am sorry but my DDs say it is too late to adopt you as they have already booked, and the room only sleeps four.We are staying at the Midtown from the Virgin brochure, they booked thu Virgin travel store and got 5% off and free insurance. But they can't afford PE so we have to slum it in economy LOL.

Christine.

Ps.....not long to book your seats now!!!

DD Nicola is back from Boston, heres what she had to say;

Flight with Virgin was really good, a smooth journey. Weather in Boston was really hot and quite a surprise. Lots of shopping to be done, tons of great shops so I bought back pressies for everyone and did bought me a lot of pressies too!

Went into Cambridge on Sunday night to see a band, we were on the guest list and got tons of freebies from the band (my fave things - freebies) and I got invited onstage with the band which was awesome.

Hotel was really nice though would've prefered to have had a hotel in the city rather than the outskirts, but it was easy to use the T system to get around.

On return flight, the plane was full of US students visiting London (why?) and it was another comfortable flight - no turbulance either way and pleasant crew. Flight was only 6 hours and 40 minutes so not as tiring as going to Orlando but just far enough to get you out of England, LOL!

All in all, despite the short period I spent in Boston I would definitly (and I am going to) return.

Christine & Nicola.
