Beginner Window Decorator

My DD & I decorated our first window at the POP during our last stay. We had a blast, and it really helps to find your room after a fun long day of walking around a park! We had so many people stop and comment....:grouphug:

We also have decorated our windows in the past. What kind of adhesive did you use to get the stuff to stay up? We've tried several kinds of tape and it would never stick. :confused3 I thought maybe they coated the glass w/ some kind of protectant because we've tried it on several different trips (i.e. July, Aug, Oct, Nov, Dec). The only thing I could get to stick was transparent stickers that look like window clings, but actually have a 'glue' on them. Only one out of 12 left a little residue and we scraped that off of the window after we took them down. Because of the 'glue' factor they were only good for one use.

Just simply Scotch Tape. This year we are going with a Canadian Theme since we are arriving after Halloween and before the American Thanksgiving

That is so wierd. :confused:
We tried to use Scotch tape (the brand, not a generic) and masking tape and another type and couldn't get any of them to stick to the glass. :confused3 I told DH next time I was bringing Duct tape, that'd stick. :lmao:

I have bought some window clings for our next trip. This will be my first time decorating also. On our last trip I enjoyed walking by all the windows that were decorated.

I did it last year !! take a look ,its just foamies and stickers with small suction cups.

We decorate our windows, too! I have to hunt down the photos, but it's really fun!

For this trip, I went over to the Creative DISigns board on Disboards and printed out some cute pictures. And I made sure to print out a bajillion lime green Mickey heads. LOL! This will be our first attempt at using lights (purple) around the window, so that should be cool. LOL!
