I just called today - my month ends tomorrow - and I had no trouble. They didn't try to talk me out of cancelling and there wasn't even a wait when I called the 800 number. I thought some people had problems with them so I was relieved.

I had the same experience. They did offer a few things(20 for my cable bill, asking if I knew about the Blockbuster gift cards being on there, etc), but I just said, "Yes, I'm aware, but just not interested", and he very politely said "Okay, thanks and have a great day". I did get his name and agent number in case I am billed for it, but really it was not that big a deal to cancel- I was expecting much more of a hassle!
