Looking for a new camera

I have a Canon power shot s400. I do love it but it's time to get a new camera. I'm looking to spend around $250. My camera has 4 mega pixels and 3x zoom. I am looking to upgrade and again I am very happy staying with Canon.

Check out the Canon SD1100 IS. I just got one a couple of months ago and love it. 8mp, 3x optical 3x digital zoom. Image stabilization, face detection, red eye reduction. Takes SD cards, good battery life. I've had nothing but compliments on the pics. It's nice and small so I can throw it in my purse or pocket, with an extra card and extra battery, and be good for the day. HTH
