Weekly stroller rentals??

Hi,

We're going down to WDW on 4/19 and rather than bring our own stroller (it's in bad shape) or do the daily stroller rental thing (which is both costly and time consuming -- yet more lines!), is there some place off-site or wherever that we can rent a jogging-type stroller, similar to what the parks have?

That would be a life-saver!

There are a few rental agencies in Orlando, I know of Baby's Away and Kids in safety seats.com. Both charge 8 per day 40 per week for a 3 wheel stroller. They will deliver and pick up for an additional charge.

Depending on how old your child is you may be better off just renting at the park. Especially if that's the type of stroller you want anyway! IMHO the joggers are impossible to get on and off the bus and if your driving you still have to deal with the tram. If your child is old enough (we used rentals after 3) renting at each park may be your best option. wdwig.com has a great stroller faq with pictures and information. IIRC it was $8 per day for the stroller, keep the receipt when you park hop and get a stroller at the next park for no additional charge. Return the receipt each day for a $1 (disney dollar) refund. I found them easy to push with plenty of places to store stuff and water bottle holders. Although I must say I wasn't as happy with the MGM strollers as I was with the type at the other parks.

We have rented everytime we go down from ALL About Kids. If you call you hotel they will have the number. The strollers aren't the best but when you are done with the parks at night and get back to your hotel it's nice to be able to bring the stroller with you. To carry a sleeping toddler or stroll them? Hmm.....plus tired feet I think it is well worth the money. Good Luck
