Meeting Characters thread.

Thought it would be a nice idea to have a thread all about meeting the characters. You can post who you've met and pics with them or who you'd like to meet and also tips etc for the best places to meet them.

So far i've met- Sulley, Mickey, Goofy, Prince John, Friar Tuck, Gepetto, Eeyore and the fantastic Captain Hook! I met all of these apart from Sulley in Cafe Mickey.

I'd like to meet- Captain Hook, Goofy, Prince John and Sulley again. Also Mr Smee, Stitch, Jack Sparrow, Cruella Devill, Aladdin, Woody and any other villains that I can.


Some things i've been thinking about for when I go back- the character express, where does it stop for you to actually meet the characters on it?
Also can you meet the characters off the Once Upon a Dream Parade. I'd love to meet Maleficant but I dont think you can with her??

It's a great thread but it'll take up lots and lots of room... We saw Maleficent walking around in April but she didn't stop for a photo (we, Mia rather managed to collect over 50 autographs in 5 days:cutie: )...

I'd love to meet Jasmine and Aladdin as she's the only princess we haven't met. Can't think of more to be honest...

Ok I THINK we met Tigger and Mickey in Sequoia Lodge. We met Pluto, King John, Mr Smee, Eeyore, Mickey and possibly Pooh in Cafe Mickey. We met Cinderella beside the castle. Also Robin Hood, Mickey, Friar Tuck, country bears I don't know, Pluto and someone else in the Lucky Nugget.
Met Cinderella beside the castle in the freezing cold. We also did a special photo with Mickey and Minnie (In wedding outfits! Bless!) on Valentine's Day in Sequoia Lodge. It was LOVELY!:goodvibes
We didn't try to meet characters when they appeared in the parks as the crowds were a bit mad except where it was organised.
Just going to post one pic that I think is great when we met Mickey in the Lucky Nugget. He insisted on getting DS2 into the picture even though he was SOUND ASLEEP

I have met, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Woody, stitch, Lilo, Chip & Dale, Rafiki, Tigger, Winnie the Pooh, Koda, Frolo, Baloo, Timon, Abu (aladdin), Goofy, Tweedle dum and dee, Donald duck, sulley, gideon (cat from pinochio), Gepetto, Pinochio, Genie from aladdin, friar tuck, sheirf from robin hood, captain hook, buzz lightyear, Jessie, cruella, Mary poppins and bert, Eeyore, chicken little, jack sparrow, cinderella, Perla and suzy (cinderllas mouse), Cinderella, Radcliffe (evil character from pochaontas) and Mr Smee.

I just realised how many I have met. I have met some of them a few times especially stitch who is my fav character and tigger who my mum loves.I have been to DLRP 4 times now.

I would love to meet the rest of the princes and princesses, Esmeralda and pochotas (although they are rarely about), Alice, Peter pan and wendy and many other human characters including Mulan but i don't think shes ever there really. Also want to meet Robin hood because he is so cute!:) I get really excited when I see a character that I haven't met before or who is rare hehe. I think I am becoming a stalker!!;)

Love the pics- the one with Jack Sparrow is brill and with Stitch and Chicken Little (i love Stitch too). Awww the one with Mickey Mouse is really sweet.

Daisy, Donald, Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, Minnie, Geppetto, Pinocchio, Prince John, Friar Tuck, Robin Hood, Sherrif of Nottingham, Eeyore, Tigger, Pluto, Goofy, Chip, Dale, Clarice, Cinderella and Prince Charming, Chicken Little, Abby Mallard, Rafiki, Baloo, King Louie and his monkey friends, Mary Poppins, a Penguin, Sleeping Beauty and Prince Phillip, Belle, Mr Smee, Woody, Jessie, Jasmine and Aladdin, Genie, Peter Pan and Wendy, Tweedledum and Tweedledee, and Timon.

We also could have had Captain Hooks autograph several times, and Jafars, but my DD runs off in the opposite direction each time they come anywhere near her :confused3 .

We've got Chip and Dale autographed in English and again in French, same with Mr Smee and Tigger. We always seem to see either Goofy or Geppetto loads in each trip, and Goofy's personalised message in DD's autograph book at Cafe Mickey made her trip - "but how does Goofy know my name Mum???" - priceless :cutie: .

I'd love to get Kenai and Koda, and Capt Jack Sparrow (and I'd be insisting on getting in the photo with him :lovestruc ).

I thought I would post this as it is my most memorable character meet at DLRP so far.

On our second day last July we had a bit of a disaster at the Mouteurs show and my other half and daughter were in need of first aid and some TLC.

As I was returning to our room in the Sequoia with first aid supplies and an upset 4 year old, Eeyore was just finishing a meet and greet. My daughter called his name as he passed and he stopped and gave her the longest hug ever. It really made her day special.

Has any one spotted cinderella,s ugly sisters recently I think they are very rare but im sure someone here saw them my 2 girls are hoping to see them ,I also wish you could meet ariel in her grotto like in florida may be we will catch her (catch her :rotfl: she a fish get it:rotfl: oh well sorry) on the castle stage

I do met the Stepsisters and Lady Tremaine in June... But there EXTREMELY rare , they should be out more often in September...

And you can meet Ariel, not as Mermaid, with Eric on the Castle Stage from 13.30 to 15.30... If Ariel is not on the Castle Stage, she should be at ''L'Auberge de Cendrillon'' with another couple of Disney Princesses and Cinderella with her two mices friends. And of course, you can see Ariel in the Disney's Once Upon a Dream Parade at 19.25 and in the Disney's Fantillusion Parade at 22.25
