Yet another tipping question!

Do you tip housekeeping when they bring you extra pillows and such? How much?

When we check into CBR next week, I want to request extra pillows and an iron.

What if we're not in the room when the items are delivered????

ALSO-
What do you do if you order food to be delivered to your room? I know the tip is included, but they seem to stand there and wait for another one! What's up with that?

If I'm in the room when they come, usually I give them $1. Once at the GF, I called to have a refrigerator brought up, and by time time I turned around to give the CM a tip, he was already halfway out the door!

Not sure about food service, I suppose you could give them $1-$2 if the service was exceptional.
