Leaving for HH tomorrow

Leaving tomorrow for HH. We have a 15 hour drive from CT!! Longest car ride we ever took. Traveling with DH, DD 13, and DS 10. Any suggestions on what to do when we get there. Where to eat? We are staying in a studio. We got spoiled in a 2 BDR in OKW, but this was the only availability. Anything we should make sure we bring? Any suggestions are truly appreciated. Thanks so much. Anna

Have a wonderful trip.

HH is agreat resort. There are many dining options within walking distance of the resort, but there are about 300 restaurants on the island- so finding something for everyone is not a problem.

There are lots of activities available, just read thru the info you'll get at checkin at try whatever looks interesting.

We enjoy canoeing, kayaking, sailing, dolphin tours, shelling, swimming, walking on the beach and just relaxing. There is opportunity to play golf, tennis, shop, parasail, fish, take a cruise or enjoy the many activities available thru the resort staff and their special programs.

Plan to take the "Behind the Ears" tour on Wednesday with Chef Gordon or try one of his cooking classes.

Well, Anna is probably on her way to HH, but I could use some suggestions on where to stay in Virginia or even northern North Carolina. We'll be driving down 77. Thanks.
