Will be going to Calif. last week of May for wedding and want to stay a couple nights at Disneyland. Need help, I don't know any hotels on site. Only been to WDW. I want something that will entertain my 2 children while at the motel, ages 13 & 8 AND big problem is I'm taking my 73 yr old parents to the wedding so also need something they will be comfortable at as far as motel, but they are very young at heart and love fun, just get tired easily. ANY suggestions will be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!! Thanks in advance.

Unlike WDW, there aren't many "on site" hotels at the Disneyland Resort. There's three Disney owned hotels: the Disneyland Hotel, Paradise Pier, and the Grand Californian. As far as options for kids, I think the Disneyland Hotel is probably the best because it has a lot of things right there on the grounds that the kids can enjoy - a themed swimming pool, etc.

I 2nd that vote on the Disneyland Hotel to make everyone happy.. It would appeal to everyone in your party both young and old... Check for fall deals with Disney soon or I always find great deals on getawaytoday.org.. Check out their website and then give them a call for the best deals..Very helpful operators on finding a great deal.

You could buy one Annual pass then get a great deal on ony on site Disney Hotel... though I heard most of the rooms for may are already booked for the AP deal, another good idea to find good rates is try Expedia for a anaheim search, it will pop up a whole bunch of hotels AND Disney hotels * at a reduced rate if looking closer to the time you are going (month ahead at the earliest)* otherwise the rates are about $200 + a nite at Disney Hotel. Off site hotels are very reasonable in the area and some are even closer to the parks then the Disney ones.. check on ones that are on the 1400 to 1500 block of Harbor Blvd. those are the closest...
