Did a test drive for Disney Gift Card

I did a test drive for a Mazda car and will be receiving a $25
gift card good at the Disney Store or Disney online store. I would like to buy Disney dollars with the gift card for our trip this year. Do you think they would let me use a gift card for Disney dollars and can you buy them online from the Disney Store? The nearest store to us is 3 1/2 hours away.

No idea about the Disney Dollars, but I have a question: Where did you get the form (assuming there is one) for the test drive reward? We're actually shopping for a new van and would love to get a few rewards at the same time.

The Mazda $25 giftcard test drive offer link was available through the Disney website but it expired on April 1, 2002.

Info on the test drive was posted on the Rewards Board on this site. Be sure to check it often for great deals! That's how I found out about it, both my sister and I did the test drive on March 16th, but haven't received our cards yet in the mail. (You had to mail in the form the Mazda dealer signed).

When we get the cards we are going to "try" to use them to "buy" Disney Dollars. Some stores will let you, some won't. We no longer have a Disney store here, but my sister is in Atlanta, so we're going to try there.

You cannot order Disney Dollars by mail from Disney or the Disney Store, I have tried.

Did you see the fine print?? It says 120 days between Mazda test drives.

Thanks for the updated link. We have 3 DD's under the age of five and we bundled them all up and got them into the van (no small feat, mind you) and we were off to the Mazda dealer when I noticed our test drive certificate expired April 1st. This time I printed one in my DH's name so we don't have to bring the whole "crew" along. Thanks again.

Gift Cards and Merchandise Credits are not valid for purchase of DD. I have tried a few times and have always been told no....

Can you use the certificate at the World of Disney in Downtown Disney??

The Disney Gift Cards are exclusive to the Disney Stores and cannot be used at the World of Disney.

my daughter got a gift card for her birthday and we are going to WDW next week and wanted to use it there. I went ot the DS today and i used it to purchase Disney Dollars. At first they said that I could not do it but then the manager said yes. It does not say on anything on the back of the card about not being able to purchase them.
I ask for the manager if they give you a hard time...

Even the Managers at 2 different Disney Stores wouldn't allow me to purchase Disney Dollars with a Gift Card.

Well, there are three TDS within a 15 radius of me, so when I get the card, maybe I'll have to try all three in order to get DD'S!

By the way, has anyone received their giftcard from doing the test drive yet? I did mine the end of March, and mailed it shortly after. I think it said to allow 6-8 weeks, but I was just wondering if anyone got theirs yet.:)
