View Full Version : Looks like I'll be at DIScon II, too!

We're going Dec. 5th-8th, and I just saw the message that DIScon II will likely be the 4th-8th. Yay! :) I was there last year during DIScon, but most of the events were too pricey for my budget, and too involved for me to be able to shoehorn into my already packed family itinerary. I was so happy to see the new message from Pete, saying the focus would be more on meets than big events! Maybe I can finally meet some DIScon-pals! :) I'm really excited!!

It'll be our usual Christmas-time bunch -- me, DS(6), my dad, and my aunt (who is my giggle-buddy.) We're usually at DxL, but DS and I both want to go back to ASMo. Plus, if I don't save some $$ on this trip, I'll have no $$ for Malibu Coladas on the next cruise! Can't have that!! LOL!!

Looking forward to hopefully making a meet or two, and making some new friends! :)

Katholyn, are you really going to be there, too?? That's so awesome! I was sorry I had to miss the last meet (were you even able to make it to that one?) but I'm hoping we can meet this time! :)

LOL!! We can really get going sometimes... and that's stone-cold sober. If we could make the DATW festivities, we'd be pretty entertaining, I bet. :D

We were just saying this weekend at the Chicago DIS Meet how fun it will be to see so many old DIS friends and meet some new ones at DIS Con this coming December!!! :) :) :)

Great news, Gina! I know what you mean about being silly while being stone-cold sober. I think we spent most of DIS-CON I that way!! :D:p :p :p

And Carol, I totally agree... I love to get to see DIS pals I already know, and I really love to get to meet DIS pals for the first time in person! :)

That is wonderful, Gina, I can't wait to meet you and your Dear Family.

I just finished updating your name and dates on the list. It's a very unofficial list, but I like to see who is going and what people might like to do at DIS-CON-II.

Last year I didn't get to meet everyone, and this year, I want a list of names to take with me...hahaha.

That's a great idea, Ray!! I was reeaallly disappointed last year that I didn't run into a single DIS person. I'm ready to wear a portable battery pack and some lime-green neon shaped into "DIS" on my head this time. :D

And I am SO in awe of your "tentative itinerary"... you are truly a man on a mission. :D :D I hope I get to meet the legendary RaySharpton! :)
