I'm also a newbie and have been lurking (hiding) for atleast a year. I'm finally brave enough to post a couple things.

Does it get easier the more you post? I probabley sound silly, I was just afraid nobody would ever write me back. I guess I have issues. LOL

Anyways, "HI". I spend several hours on this site everyday. It's becoming a problem, but I'm not going to do anything about it. It's a good problem.

HI!

It does get easier! I used to be a complete wallflower around here and now flit all over the place! The Community Board has a lot of action and you can really develop some friendships there, but it also can be a bit scary until you learn your way around and buy a flame-proof suit!

We also have crafting boards where you can meet some great people if you have any interest in crafting. Or just find a board that suits your interest, Restaurants, Resorts etc and start posting. You will start to recognize other regulars and they will recognize you. :)

You have come to the right place and don't be afraid to ask questions. As a former teacher I used to tell my students that there is no such thing as a stupid question. There is a wealth of resources here. There's always somebody that knows the answer or else someone knows how to find the answer.
And yes, it can be addicting but it will get better in time. At first there's just soo much to soak in. I could still spend hours here but I just don't have the time. Like right now, I should be sleeping but yet, here I am...
