Just thinking ahead here - and looking for comments.

On our next trip, we will have a group of 7 (6 of these will be 18 or over-under 22 yrs). I planned to rent a car for transportation from airport to camper, but not everyone will fit (and luggage). I thought of sending some on ahead using DME. These people will have to be on the reservation form in order to use DME.

According to allears.net there is an additional charge for over two adults per campsite:

Rates do not include room tax. There is a $2/day per adult charge for more than two adults on campsites and $5/day per adult for more than 2 adults in a Cabin.

I've never before listed everyone staying in our camper - but then again, most of them were under 18 at the time.

Anybody used DME and not had everyone listed on the reservation? I guess I'm entitled to flames here, because I am trying to get around paying an additional 10.00 per site.

Only registered guests can use DME.

Yes, that is why I would only send the registered guests on DME. But do you ever NOT register ALL the guests in your camper?

I register everyone, we all like to have the key cards.

Are you tent camping or in a cabin this time? I thought the max in the cabin was six, so someone will have to be left off anyways.

This time is a camper. But what I'm considering is a rental that would already be set up on site for me. Therefore we would take transportation from the airport. I thought I read where max was 10. We don't need key cards. We will purchase tickets separately (not tied to reservations).

Maybe I'm just worrying for nothing.

You're only paying an additional $2.00 per extra adult per night. What's the big deal. You will be able to get into EMH at the parks with your cards.

I paid for extra adults, everyones legal, has access for EMH (this is the only reason I would even stay onsite at Disney), and there are no worries. Everyone will also have there own card to enter the Comfort Stations at night, although maybe not a big deal if you're in a camper.

You never have to feel bad about playing by the rules, that you know about. What a great example for the kids!! Find other ways to save a few bucks, visit the budget board.

I was not putting the flying and camper together. Campsites are 10 people. Everyone will need a key for Extra Magic Hour.

Everyone will need a key for Extra Magic Hour.

Thanks, I didn't think about that. We didn't use EMH last trip because it was off season.
