Coronado Springs...we want a room near the "dig" pool

We've never been to Coronado Springs and are going at the end of may. My main goal is to be near the "dig" pool. What area of the resort do I want to request? The maps are so deceiving.

Rancho 7 A and Cabana 8a are pretty close.

The Dig Site is a great pool. Request cabana 8a or 9b. 9b will get you close to the main building as well as the pool. 8 a is close to the pool and the bus stop. Check out the map on my web site. It is pretty accurate. Well be there in the beginning of May. We love CSR!

I have heard that the Coronado goes for the "Sun drenched atmosphere" of Mexico theme. Do you think this would be a problem going in the warmer months like June, July ect????

Is there much shade by the pool???

That is where we will be spending most of our time..

They have some tables with umbrellas and some areas along the side closest to the cabanas with trees as a border but mostly sun drenched as you put it. Here are some photos
