favorite suites closest to Disney?

I planned on staying in Disney until they took early entry away. I really don't know much about any offsite hotels. I would appreciate any reviews and recommendations you have.


What hotel suites; in your opinions are the nicest and closest in proximity to Disney parks? What did you like and dislike about them? Thanks for your help.

Try Holiday Inn Family Suites on International Dr. (I think) Not the one on Irlo Bronson, although I've heard that's nice also.

The rooms sleep 7 - 2 bedrooms; 1 w/ king size bed, 1 w/ bunks & a pull out single. The "living area" has a pull out sofa. 3 TV's - one in each room. Small kitchenette in main room with fridge, micro, sink, table & chairs.

Free full breakfast each morning. Kids 12 & under eat free for lunch & dinner with paying adults (up to 4 children w/ 1 adult). Great pool area shuffleboard, ping pong, mini golf, hot tub.

Very close to Disney. Right around the corner from the new Pop Century. About 5 minutes to the entrance to Downtown Disney - if that. Great place for a family.

If you check on this board and budget board there has been alot of discussions about HIFS. There are some good deals out now and the hotel is under 5 min. from disney. They have free full breakfast buffet for all, and kids eat free lunch and dinner with paying adult. Someone mentioned a discount from Florida Lottery that gets a suite for 109.00 + adult eats free too. Check the boards out, go back a few days if you have to.

We stayed at the Doubletree Guest Suites in WDW Village and enjoyed it very much. Suite was nice (our first time in a suite) and it was close to everything.
