View Full Version : Don't you Hate Conflicts?

Today I have to be three places at once (2 rehearsals and work). Naturally work trumps rehearsals so Im gonna miss out big time. I HATE this. I don't mind my job, its really fun, but I HATE all the conflicts I have. I have to miss work on friday because of a tech-rehearsal for a show saturday. :confused3 I feel really bad missing rehearsals because it lets everyone down. But then again I feel bad missing work too because I work with another girl and when I miss it means she has to work with someone knew and unfamiliar to our job.

*sigh* so much for a relaxing summer.
Thanks for letting me vent.

As far as the girl at work, working with other people, new and unfamiliar is apart of the real world. So don't feel so bad. I hope it all works out, and just remember that you're doing the best you can. :)

4h takes over my life in september and june. (june is dairy month, september is the fair)
if i had a dollar for every time i said, "sorry, id love to go, but i have 4h" i could BUY 4h.

Aww I'm sorry :(

Dance conflicts with stuff for me.

My friends had a birthday sleepover for my other friend but I had to turn them down due to my recital being the same night.

For our dress rehersal (not mandatory, but you SHOULD be there) a few girls had to skip due to graduation being the same night.

There have been years where the high school proms conflict with our studio's recitals :/

I can only hope that I get there, that won't happen to me!

There are so many things I've had to turn down due to another commitment, and it sucks, but it's a part of life!

*hugs*

your dance teacher should probably check a calendar before scheduling these things. lol

Well I know Im not alone with all these conflicts. Actually, my producers are quite understanding about work being mandatory. I just feel bad because I am letting my cast down everytime I do not show up. However, now that I think about it, I will still perform at my 100% the nights of the show/dress rehearsals.

I geuss conflicts are just a way of life and I need to learn to deal with them.
