Shuttles from resort community?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone had stayed at the Windor Hills resort and made use of the shuttle to the parks? I am looking for a villa to rent and have seen one in this resort (Laurel Springs) and it mentions that a shuttle bus is available to the parks.

This could be ideal for us and mean hiring only 1 car instead of 2 if its a good service!

Does anyone know if any of the other resorts offer a shuttle service?

I have been sent details of a villa in Highgate Park, part of the Legacy Park development. Has anyone stayed here? Could you recommend it??

The shuttle isn't a free one it costs between $10-$ 14 per person depending on where you are going.Maybe the owner of the home you are interested can provide a timetable for you

how many are traveling as they do have big cars for large groups 7,8 seaters are comanplace and if you realy nead one there are 15 seaters available,but we have never fancyed driving a bus

its not the size of car that is making us think of taking two. We want the flexibility more as we will have a toddler with us and we can imagine she might well get tired and want to come back to the villa before the rest of the party is ready!

If there are shuttles we can use this will make that much much easier and cheaper I would imagine than two cars...

We have stayed at WH twice - but not used the shuttle service.

All details are held by the sundry shop in the clubhouse. I believe it is $10 per round trip to WDW parks & $14 to Universal & SW.
It is run by a company called 'Maingate Transportation' tel 407-390-0000.

I don't know if it will be convenient for you or not - have you priced up a small economy car just to see?

I think a one way taxi is said to be in the region of $20 from WDW - so you'll have to do the math. :)
