DFM that is. One of his latest ventures is Formula 3 Racin and he has a contribution on Channel 4s F3 programme at 7am tomorrow (Sat 13th April). He thinks his bit is in the second part.

I'll be back with an update tomorrer.

Not as a driver presumably? I don't think those cockpits are Dave-sized are they?

I slept in!!!!!

Have already apologised to the great man and have his assurance he'll still talk to me (when he has to) at Shields. No repeats, I'm afraid but he says there'll be another every two weeks - so set them alarm clocks!

Dave,

I think you'll find that we actually have quite a few famous people here on the UK DIS.
These include:

SHIRLEY - Once part of the US comedy show Laverne & Shirley until she started hitting the bottle.

JANICE - Still in Coronation Street as far as I know.

VERNON - He founded the great football pools empire.

Then there is HILARY, who conquered Everest and still made it back home in time to make supper.

Henny PENNY was part of the infamous Chicken Licken gang that ran the old 'World Is Going To End' scam. She is now banged up in the big coop. How she gets internet access I'll never know.

Perhaps the most famous of them all is the great SPOTTYDOG. At the height of his career with the Woodentops he received great critical acclaim for the range of emotion he could put into the line 'Rrrr, rrrr, rrr' while simultaneously moving all 4 inarticulated legs.
Then came that unfortunate incident with Bagpuss. The media never forgave him and he started the slow downward spiral, eventually ending up as a beer loving Sunderland fan. Surely it is not possible to sink lower? (Well, you could be a Swindon Town fan, like me, but that really is scraping the bottom of the barrel!)

See, it really is surprising the depth of talent hidden within our little group.

And what about me? Star of a very successful children's film in the 70s (or so my mum tells me!), and now starring in a very successful West End stage show!!!
