Last Wednesday, July 9, changed my life forever.
My mom, grandmother, my 2 kids, and my nephew were involved in a very serious car accident. The vehicle they were riding in ran off the road, my mom tried to get back on and over-corrected. The vehicle ended up rolling 3-4 times and my grandmother was thrown from the vehicle. My grandmother was killed as a result of the accident.
My mom suffered some serious injuries. She has a fractured sternum, cracked ribs, 2 fractured vertabrae in her neck, and bruised lungs. She spent 1 night in ICU and was released from the hospital yesterday afternoon. She spent 6 days total in the hospital.
The true miracle is that both of my kids who are 12 & 8, and my nephew who is 3, all walked away from the accident with just minor cuts and scrapes, bumps, and bruises. They were treated at the hospital and released that night.
Also on that same day early in the morning around 3am, my wife's grandmother passed away from natural causes.
My wife and I both lost our last grandmother on the same day.
I would just like to ask everyone to pray for the speedy recovery of my mom and for strength to help her deal with the loss of her mother. The physical healing will come within a short period of time, but the mental and emotional healing will take a very long time. Thank GOD my mom has tremendous faith in the Lord and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
