I have a 6 month old boy and was wondering how to get him around the ship with the family. Do most cruisers with infants use strollers or just carry them around in their car seats? Strollers seem a little awkward and bulky for a cruise. Input is GREATLY appreciated. We depart on April 18th.
Also, what are our chances of getting our dinner seating time switched to early? We requested early, but they gave us late.
Thanks.

I can't help on the dining part, but as a veteran traveler with kids, I can offer some other options to carrying around your DS in his car seat or bulky stroller.
Sling - very compact and lightweight. You can get them in mesh fabrics that are breathable and good for summer, even in fabrics that are made to go in the pool. (I'll be bringing one for my 9 1/2mo DS)
Carrier - like a Baby Bjorn. Not the best if it's going to be hot, though. You and baby will both sweat.
Baby Backpack Carrier. They have a few that convert to strollers if you get tired of carrying the baby.
A Travel stroller. We have a Combi Savvy Z. It's less than 8lbs and folds up tiny and can be stashed out of the way. Ours only has a partial recline, so it's not the best for napping. The Ultra Savvy has full recline. Some Maclarens and Kidcos also fold compactly and have full recline.
