Just wondering if it will be swamped or if we will actually be able to get onto ride pretty quickly?
Also I understand it will be HOT but does anyone know a good weather web site I can save for when it gets closer?

Hi,
We were there last year from the 16th-20th, and here is a link to my trip report. I can't guarantee you'll find it as empty as we did, but have fun!

As you can see from my signature, we've been to WDW in August many times, so I will save you the trouble of finding a weather site!
Unless there is a tropical system in the area, the weather will be hot and relentlessly humid, with afternoons around 90 to the low-mid 90s, and a very good chance of a thunderstorm every afternoon that will last between 15 minutes and a couple of hours. Mornings will be quite warm and muggy.

You can go to www.touringplans.com and see a "crowd calendar" for your visit. You can view the calendar on month from today's date without a subscription, so you can get some idea of the crowd levels while you are there.

It was mostly 8 level. Is that packed? LOL sorry I am really dumb with this whole thing:confused:

Well, it's on a scale of 1 to 10, so yes, that seems pretty crowded. I think Aug. crowds start dropping off later in the month. Just make sure you have a good touring plan (like Tour Guide Mike's least crowed park days, or a touring plan from the UG--or both!)
