Can we trade-in unused hopper days toward APs?

Hello! Trying to save a few $$$. We need to purchase APs. We are now DVC members:D and will (hopefully) go to WDW more than once this year.

In the past, we were able to trade-in unused days on hoppers toward new hoppers. Does anyone know if this can be done with APs? Do any of the discount ticket sellers sell APs?

Yes, you can apply unused days towards a new AP. But you'll have to do it at WDW as Disney is the only one who sells them.

The stores in Florida all sell annual passes, but the upgrades can only be done at the park. The stores aren't equipped for that.

Has anyone done this and if so how expensive was it? I have 2 hopper passes with 3 days each left on them. Any idea what it would cost? Just wondering. Thanks! :confused:

It doesn't cost anything to change them. Did it last year. In fact, they will even upgrade a child's ticket to an adult at no additional charge. At least they did last April. They took my daughter's hopper pass, upgraded it to an adult & then put the value of it towards her AP. It may have changed during the year. We did it at the TTC. CM we worked with was extremely helpful. Good luck & have fun.

If you're not a Disney Club member yet, you'll want to become one right away. You'll make the cost back right away with the discount you'll get on your APs. And, oh yes, Welcome Home!

Wow! I never thought of DC also! Thanks, Robin! Does any know if I could combine DC discount with applying unused Hopper days to Ap purchase? This gets better all the time!:D

Yes, you can get the DC discounted AP price and still apply the credit from your unused days. However, Disney may not allow you to apply the credit from more than one hopper pass to the same AP. Enjoy your trip!
