I think if you've found a photographer you really really like, you might wanna book them as soon as you can. Some of the more popular dates and photogs book up fast! :thumbsup2

I was at about 5 months til the wedding when I booked. I was not sure who I was going to use, and it ended up being Randy. I had initally thought I would go with Disney's Photographers, but their packages did not include the rights to the images, and I was not going to order all of my prints from the photographer. If there is a photographer you specifically want, book as soon as possible. I didnt get my first choice as he was already booked, but I did wait until about 6 month to decide that I did not want to use Disney.

Katie,

I don't know who your first choice was, but your photos turned out AMAZING!!!!

Just make sure that your locations allow an outside photographer :)

I booked ours 11 months out. If you want to choose someone who is popular like Randy or Misty I would suggest booking asap.

My only advice is book as soon as you can! I waited and lost out on (in my opinion) the top three photographers!

I booked my photographer before I had my official date. I knew we were getting married in May on a Thursday and that mornings were easier to get ahold of than evenings. I felt pretty comfortable doing this in advance. The sooner you can get on the schedule even tentatively the better off you are.

I am sending in the deposit for my photographer this next week. But, I would definatly say do it as soon as you find someone you are excited to work with!!!

I booked my photographer as soon as my date was confirmed with Disney. So I would say a little less than a year out? If you know which photographer you want, book them as soon as you can.

I was penciled in with DFTW at one year, and that is when I booked the photographer and videographer.
