yet another early start (7am alarm) to get to the park for 8. We headed for fantasyland again to get on all the kiddies rides and do a bit of extreme tea cupping! Then it was off to discoveryland for a ride on space mountain...which was closed! so we settled for buzz lightyear instead and i got beaten once again (which was a change from last year when i only lost to dbf once) I also went on orbitron for the first time, which not surprisingly wasn't much different to dumbo and flying carpets! After a quick stop at the cable car bake shop we headed off to meet my brother again and join the race for crushes coaster. We got so close to the front of the queue and the ride broke down for about 20 mins!

After finally getting off crush we saw the 11.15 stunt show which also had a technical glitch so they had to replace one of the corsa's, but after that it was as good as ever, i look forward to the man catching fire everytime i see it lol.

after the stunt show we did the daily rounds of tower of terror and rock n roller coaster and got our faces painted on the way back to the main park, which my brother refused to do and he said we would look embarassing :lmao:

The parks were fairly busy on wednesday so we did't get on too many rides once we got into the main park but we managed to get indiana jones, pirates of the caribbean, the snow white ride and the carousel, which my brother hadn't been on yet. At 7 we headed to the village to have a look round the shops then shunted my brother back to the hotel for a pot noodle while me and dbf went to cafe mickey for dinner (we later found out that my bro blocked the rooms key card by trying to get into someone elses room coz he didnt know our room number!)

The food was once again really nice (i had caesar salad, steak and apple pie, and dbf had soup, steak and creme brulee) and we got pics with Prince John, Mickey, Tigger, Goofy, Jessie, Friar Tuck, the Sheriff of Nottingham (who made a little girl on a nearby table cry and laughed at ryan for having facepaint) and Gepetto (who we've now started calling ciabbata but im not entirely sure why lol). After cafe mickey we met back up with my brother and headed for space mountain, indiana jones, phantom manor and big thunder before going back to main street for the fireworks.

The fireworks were amazing and absolutely magical, one of us may have got a bit tearful on the 'so close' part of the music :rolleyes1 i recommend everyone goes and sees them, i think they are a lot better than wishes and i love the music, but it almost made me smudge my face paint!!! :rotfl: Afterwards it was back to the hotel for some sleep after a big crush on the bus (1 bus for 4 hotels is not a good idea!!!!!)

The photo of the fireworks is amazing! Really wish we could see that but it won't be on in Dec.

I had my face painted on the last day of our two past trips. I just loved it and I'm not even that young (well, I'll be 34 in 10 days :scared1: ). But wondered why the lady doing the face painting looked me a bit funny

Lol- He'd kill me. T'would be worth it for the giggles though!

I'll see if he has a deep enough sleep!!

Lol, sorry, going off topic for a second- This has just reminded me of a story Robert's mum told me. On Robert's Dad's 40th birthday, everyone was a bit drunk, so Sharon's (Robert's mum) sister and best friend painted Jonathans face when he fell asleep... Unfortunately they used nail varnish!! The best bit is, he woke up late for work the next day, and ran down to work at the Odeon with nail varnish eyebrows, lips, the works!!

OMG!!! We used toothpaste to 'decorate' our friend's faces whilst on a school trip but never nail varnish... I can just imagine the picture
