I don't want to sound to mean, but don't audition for American Idol. maybe you were a little nervous or something because I know I couldn't even get the nerve up to even do what you did. NB has French Immersion (though they're trying to get rid of it) which starts in grade 1 (you can do it in grades 6, 7 and 8 instead). But the problem is, once you get to HS in NB you have both these immersions in the same French class and it feels like the teacher is reteaching you everything (we did Passé Composé this year, I learned that in grade 4).
It feels like Core French, which is really the problem. I don't know why, but Core French kids don't seem to get good grades in anything... And well, they don't learn french because they're just taught the culture not verbs...
