Yeah, the pictures werent all that great. But she wasnt nude. She wasnt you-knowing with someone. And she has a purity ring. [Dont bash me for that, either.]

And the vanity fair pictures, they arent terrible. A little girl in a youtube video said she looked really pretty.

Heres my opinion:

I don't hate her, because I don't know her. Can she sing? Certainly a lot better than I can. She's not amazing, but obviously she's not horrible because she has sold plenty of CD's and concert tickets. Can she act? Definitely not as well as other people, but again, probably better than I could.

As for the pictures, I could care less that she posed for VF. That was probably her way of trying to start breaking away from the Disney image. And I understand this 100%. You can't make a career for yourself just working with one type of audience. Plenty of successful actors and actresses have said that they were afraid of being type-casted. My one problem with this whole VF thing is this: She said she wanted to do the photo shoot. Okay, fine, then do it. But when it didn't get the reaction she wanted she was saying things like 'I'm so ashamed', etc, etc. Own up to what you did!You wanted to do the photos! Don't let the media ruin something you wanted to do. The other photos with her and her friends/boyfriend/whoever they were, it was just her having fun. Everyone goes through that. The problem is, the media makes everything out to be such a big deal, and because she is a 'celebrity' everything she does is under a magnifying glass.

I don't think shes the 'good girl' people claim she is, which also bothers me. I don't expect her or any teenage girl to be perfect, so I think she should say that. Why pretend to be something? Maybe I'm wrong, but this is my opinion. Some of her songs are okay, others aren't. (But isn't that how every singer is?) It's all a matter of opinion. I know that I get annoyed when people bash singers/actors that I like, so I'm not going to sit here and complain about someone I don't like.

I don't like how she is in the media all the time, and that she's all over the place. From E! News and stuff to obviously all over Disney merchandise, she's everywhere! To be quite honest I've never liked her really. She's not all that talented of an actress, sorry to those who think she is i don't mean to offend you. I'm part of the minority on this one, but I absolutely love Miley. I know that a lot of people don't like her but I just don't see anything wrong. I know that sounds nieve but its my opinion. I'm perfectly aware of all the bad publicity surrounding her but for some reason, it doesn't bother me.
I can't explain why I like her so much (and I mean I like her in the person sense, not in a 'relationship' type sense, just explaining). So yeah, that's just my opinion.
I can say though that Hannah Montana is getting to a point where it is wayyy too over-exposed. Disney found a goldmine with this and they're milking it to the extreme. But Miley doesn't have any control over that.

I like it too. It has a very catchy tune. What I can't stand is everyone obsessing over whether its about Nick Jonas. Its none of our business. It was/ is their business and their business only. It was completly pointless. They also mocked Madonna's '4 minutes' music video which really annoyed me. Madonna has been singing for a lot longer than they have even been alive. For them to do that kind of says 'we're better than you' which is so far from true.
