So I called Member services today requesting a studio for xmas eve. They had BWV (standard), AKV (value or savannah), OKW and SSR. Which should I pick and why? We will be staying at BWV for our honeymoon in Jan so maybe we should try somewhere else. But the proximity to 2 parks in busy season might be nice. Any opinions?

BWV. Standard is a steal, two parks, the Boardwalk...what's not to like?
OKW is my favorite resort, but for New Years? BWV...easy.

Stay at OKW. I love the way they do Christmas there and the piped in music around the resort is great.
We stayed there last christmas it was great. OKW gets my vote!:santa:

Thanks! We are actually going for Xmas Eve not New Year's Eve. I should have mentioned also that we're only planning on visiting MK.

You know, we had totally discounted OKW but I think you may have sold us. Plus we made Xmas eve dining reservations for Wolfgang Puck Cafe (never tried it) and that seems like it would be pretty easy to get to. Do you know if you can walk to DTD from OKW? Or how late the water taxi runs?

I called this morning and bookked OKW! BWV was gone by the time I called anyways (couldn't call at opening as I had a hair appointment). We booked dinner at Wolfgang Puck's for xmas eve so the location will be nice too. Thanks for the suggestions!

so glad that I could help. The water taxi is the way to go if the weather is nice. When we were down there it was in the mid 60's at night, nice jacket weather, and the ride over was great and it seems that I remember that the boat ran well after midnight during that time of the year. If not it is a very easy drive, bus or car from DTD.:santa:
