This year it wasn't too bad. Busy but not insane.

Last year I went right when the expo opened on Thursday and walked right in. When I left the line was from the Milkhouse almost to the front gates. I think a lot of people decided to leave the parks and hit the expo on the way to dinner, at least that is what it seemed like from the timing. If you go Thursday either go first thing or close to closing time. That has been my experience.

We're driving in that day and Friday we have plans so Thursday night it is. Any ideas to how long the line gets time wise?!?
Thanks!

Well, if you come in at 7pm-ish on Thursday night like I did last year, the wait time will be eactly zero minutes. :teeth: That said, you do kind of have to race to get you race stuff, t shirt and shop before the Expo closes at 8pm.....
I stopped by about 12 noon on Friday to check out some of the other booths and it was pretty much pandemonium. I'm definately going to do the Thursday thing again...

That's good to know. I'm flying in on Thursday so I will try heading over around then. I don't know if I want to fight the crowds on Friday.

Does anyone know what the expo hrs usually are on Thurs/Fri? I'm flying in Thursday morning. Sounds like Thursday is a less crowded day than Friday?

Not good. We plan to arrive around noon on Friday. Last year I could wait until Saturday because I was just running the marathon but this year I need to pick up on Friday.
I'm still deciding if I want to do the 5K too so we might need to get there on Thursday (we drive)
enjoy,

LOL,
You all know there's a Half Marathon at Disneyland in August, right? You threw me off with Expo talk, then I realized you were talking about January, 2009 (correction) at WDW.
Ho, are you guys and gals that anxious already? :lmao: :rotfl: :woohoo: :rotfl2:

Shan,
I recall at this year's expo, once you entered the Milk House arena, the volunteers kinda herded everyone towards the registration on the top level.
I suggest you stick to the left hand side of the line, and then duck down the stairway that everyone existing is coming up. That will get you down to the floor where the shopping is. Once you're done, just go back up the same stairway to get to registration.
Pin collectors take note: the limited editions go real fast, so you want to do that first before they sell out. That's if you didn't pre-order.
