I am sure this has been asked before..... My DW would like to do some laundry (you know I will help) during our stay at the Fort July 20 - Aug 2
is the laundry open late or even 24hr???? your help in this matter is appreciated as this is our first trip to the fort and are unaware of the facilities.
Thanks

Yes it is open late. I would throw in laundry after a day at the parks. I think it was $2.00 a load to wash and another $2.00 to dry. Bring your own detergents they were exspensive. You can't put a huge load in the dryers they're not that great.

After midnight I think you needed your key?? But they were available all night. That's when we did our laundry, too. Middle of the afternoon is a great time. We take our own quarters, too because the machine is frequently empty.

Its the same credit card size/style key that you get at all the resorts, its your resort ID and it can be used for charging while at Disney (assuming you leave a credit card number at the front desk for it to be billed to) IIRC some forms of ticket media can be placed on it also.

You will also need this card to access the bathrooms late at night and to open the gate for re entry any time if you drive off FW.

It is your key to the world. You will get them when you check in. Your kids will even get one. You decide if they can charge on them or not. these keys will let you back in the gate, enter the CS late at night. It is also required if you go to Extra Magic Hours at one of the parks.
Hope this helps
Just my 2 cents

I ocassionaly use it to remind me of my name when I forget it. My name that is, not the card.

I got you pegged for a thinker, Al. Always planning for that possible disaster.

Last time my husband helped me out with the laundry while camping he figured he would improve on the way I did it. He decided to put wet white clothes in the same dryer as the wet dark clothes to save time.
Yep...thank you very much dear.:sad2:
