more acid or more alkaline in the soil.........Some of our outdoor plants were to close to the foundation and did not do good......so we took it out and put it in the back yard...Our Rhodadedrum was not a foundation (lime in bricks) lover......so if your outdoors plants don't do good.....think about that too...we got our neat gadget at Home Depot for about fifteen dollars.....well worth it
