Since Shauna is still under the weather and I now have 2 WDW trips planned for consecutive weekends I am pushing the due date back to 9/15. If you finish up early go ahead and send it, someone will be here to get the mail.

Due Date 9/15

I will need 24 participants, you will pic 18 colors and purchase 1 sheet of each.
Cut each sheet into 24 2x3 inch rectangles.
Label the back side with a typed address label stating color and texture or bundle e.g. monochromatic

Mail to me. You can mail regular post but be sure to allow enough time to get here. PM's with my addy will be sent out after we close the swap

Return postage - Enough for a small flat rate priority box ($9.80)

Yep, I just want the straight pieces. Not all corner rounders punch the same so if you do them yourself they will all match up.

The lists below are in order of sign-up. Some were bumped up because purchases were combined with others. I'm going to work with BAMB to fill in what has already been selected and then we will let the "Pick Your Own Colors" group start listing in order according to the list below. After everyone on that list has selected, I will assign the remaining colors to everyone in the second list.

If I were doing it, I would print the list of available colors only, take that to my LSS and choose the colors they have from that.

You need 18 colors total.

Ladies, I've been MIA because DH and I both have a stomach flu. His is worse than mine and I had to take him to the hospital on Saturday afternoon after he collapsed. They gave him a couple of bags of IV fluid as he was extremely dehydrated. He is doing a bit better but we are both still struggling. This is an especially difficult time because I am still having serious problems with my knee and can barely walk to take care of both of us.

I'm curious about the label thing, also. Each tag plus their bag will require labels so that is 25 labels per color x 18 sheets for a total of 450 labels. Those little puppies are expensive. I know I have a few but I don't know if I have 18 sheets.

Is there an alternative to the labels?

Hi ladies!

I am working on adding the last two brick 'n' mortar lists to the overall color listing and then I'll be ready to assign colors. There will be a slight delay with this due to a last minute change for the summer class I am taking. Ranting about that topic can be seen on our "living room" thread if you are interested. Just suffice it to say that I have to observe, research and write an approximately 1,500 word report by next Tuesday so I'm a bit swamped. I also have a final on Thursday so I'm dealing with that as well.

I think BAMB has a few things going on and I know her computer is still acting up so we appreciate everyone's patience. We'll get everything updated and sent and then we'll be all set.

Cut those into 24 2x3 pieces (using your straight trimmer (not scissors)) and mail those to me and also the return postage for a small flat rate priority box.

I will PM you my address. When everyone has their list. In the mean time post around the creative community so we can get to know you. When you hit 10 posts you can PM people and post pictures.

Hi! I'm here for a few minutes. DH and I are both feeling better but I am slammed with my online class. The surprise paper my professor assigned last Thursday is due today. It was an observation of a prosimian and a primate and was a required 2500 words. I found labels at the Dollar Tree. They are 1" x 2 5/8" and are white. There are 450 labels in the package for $1. They had clear but there were only 150 labels and I didn't think that was a good idea since some of my colors are dark. I found them in the office/school supply aisle. It is a hot pink package. I don't remember what the other ones were though.

Buffy, I figured out how to print them so if you need help, give me a shout. I can talk you through it on the phone. Piece of cake :)

okay -- I think I have a handle on the classic colors.

The burlaps -- bazzill green, yellow & purple -- the site lists those colrs but states "NEW TEXTURE" clearly not burlap. I will buy those sheets but I will pick up some extras from the list in case these are not acceptable.

The colors of the smoothies are incredibly vibrant! I am always drawn to them at my LSS but pass them up as I prefer the texture. They are seriously the nicest smooth cs I've ever seen.

That's why they price it in litres now so we can't work that out:rotfl: At least I think there are 4 litres in a gallon - a litre is just under 2 pints. SO if its 4 pints in a gallon you can halve that, but its still twice your price. That (and our tiny roads) is why we don't have big cars like you very often;) If we used as much gas as you we wouldn't have any money left to pay the postage on our scrap supplies from the US:rotfl:

I knew that would happen. I ordered from scrapsupply.com and put different colors in between my many shades of purple when I put them into my cart. Hopefully they will ship them in the order listed in the cart (and I put a note in the order asking them to do just that) so I can figure out. If not, I have already asked calanniebu if I can double check her swatch books.

I was able to id the others using my conformation email that they sent as it had the color blocks on it and i printed it out. i am missing gulf though. they sent me icy blue from the washboard collection. i will call them tomarrow on that and see what i can do.

I figured it would take awhile, so I brought my cutter and my labels into the other room and sat down in front of the TV. One hour long TV show, one 2 hour movie and most of another hour long show later, it was done! :scared1: Granted, I had double the amount of colors, and I was occasionally stopping to watch the show more intently, so I can't be sure exactly how long it took. But much longer than I anticipated, at any rate!

I'm doing mine and Mazda's. So far, I've worked on it for 2 hours and gotten 10 sheets cut, labeled and bagged. It is taking much longer than I had anticipated.

I did my labels just like Shauna, but I don't have a problem with it being the opposite way too.

I didn't have enough rubber bands in my house, but I had a lot of the very small bags (the kind you find in the beading section of a craft store), so I put each set in its own bag. If I had had rubber bands, though, I probably would have used those.

Crazy days here getting ready to leave and DH is hurting pretty bad from his back, looks like surgery is in the near future so I have been picking up the slack at home to try to keep him as pain free as possible.

Anyway labels either way are fine, bags or rubber bands are fine. Sorting either way is fine too (same color or 1 of each), and Michellepooh and NEE's swatches are here.

DH will be getting the mail while I am gone, and the following week mom will be getting my mail, so feel free to send the packages when ever you are ready!
